Highlight: Multi-core Fiber Amplifier

Constelex prensents the first commercially-available Multi-core Erbium-doped fiber Amplifier for use in Space Division Multiplexed (SDM) transmission systems that employ multi-core fibers for increasing total fiber capacity. The amplifier uses 7-core Er-doped fiber for amplification and includes Multi-core to Single-core interfaces for plug-and-play into R&D SDM testbeds. The product can be tailored according to system specifications set by the client including gain flattening and core-to-core power equalization.
